How does the vocational training as food technician ?
As a food technology specialist, you will work in factories that manufacture food products. Since you produce something for a wide variety of product groups depending on the company, it never gets boring in this job. Training to become a food technology specialist is something for everyone who wants to experience something new every day. You have the opportunity to be creative and turn your idea into a real product. For example, you could design a product to eat. During your training as a food technology specialist, you will learn how to produce food and ready-made meals from raw materials. Of course, you’re not starting to cook or bake yourself now, but everything runs on machines and automated production systems. You are responsible for testing, analysing and labelling the individual substances. And of course, to make a proper recipe that can be produced by the machines.
The training to become a specialist in food technology lasts three years. During this time, you will learn everything about food and its ingredients. Since you also have to operate machines in this job, you will of course also be trained in operation of the them. You are involved in production at all stations,
from receipt of the raw materials to the finished, packaged product.
